To travel to Libya need a VISA, it normally used by Libyan travel agency send invitation to Libyan people bureau, Embassy or consulate, in the relevant over seas country. VISA can be used for several reasons; tourist and businesses are the main reasons due to the growth of the Libyan.

 
VISA rules have been relaxed and are easier to obtain. To obtain it, you need to apply to the nearest Libyan embassy. Visa’s is usually valid for three months length in Libya.
 
Currency
 
There is no currency purchase order for tourists travelling to Libya to change a mount of money you can change as much as you want, you need to make the change at the Tripoli International Airport, or at any bank in Tripoli, or your entry point, it is always advised to travel through the Tripoli International Airport as the main operators deal with it.
   
The Libyan Dinar is the standard currency which is divided in to 1000 durham’s with called Dinar.
   
Getting there
   
Libya’s main entry points are Tripoli and Benghazi, or by Libyan-Tunisian, or Libyan-Egyptian border. You can travel by air, or ports. When in Libya the roads are in good conditions, currency, there are some car rental agencies (prices are not expensive), you can also relay on taxi, and local transportation, between the cities you can take the bus or rent your own taxis, shared taxi are also available.
 
Shopping
 
Travel east or west, to near by LIBDHA, or SABRATAH, and soak up all the history. Shopping is a great pleasure, especially in the popular markets where you can buy a great variety of Libyan handicrafts such as traditional clothes, carpets, handmade gold and silver jewellery, cooper and silver dishes, leather goods, and pottery.
 
Libyan business hour are from 7:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. (on summer), and 8:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. (on winter). Private business and shops operate differently are usually open late.
